ABOUT ME
Hi my name is Larry Tice, I’ve had a passion for the outdoors from a young age. Like many aspiring hunters and fishermen, I had the drive and enthusiasm to succeceed but lacked the knowlewdge and guidance to truly develop my skills.
Fortunatley, my parents introduced me to an experienced outdoorsman whose mentorship had a lasting impact on my life. Trough his gudance, support, and shared knowledge, I grew into a dedicated sportsman with a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to participate in a variety of habitat projects,where I’ve met some incredible people and continued to expand my experience and passion for the outdoor lifestyle.
My plan is to connect experienced hunters, with novice hunters. This would help keep the outdoors alive. Trough a mobile app. mentors can now teach the ways of the woods, from the comfort of their home. Novice hunters can learn the ways through LIVE real time instruction. This can all be possible through apps, and lenses. Making it a safe reliable way to recruit new hunters to the wonderful outdoors!
This is a photo of my mentor, my little protege, and me. My mentor, and I have seen many people attend, and pass the hunter safety course,yet never step a foot in the woods. One study showed, 30 to 40 percent of individuals whom passed the hunters safety course. never did take part in a hunt. Their rerason for this. They had no mentor to show them what they were doing. Though they had enough desire to sign up and take the course, they lacked guidance!
With this app. you can sign up as a mentor, or a hunter. If a mentor is succsessful in helping a hunter harvest game. They can gain trophys, or pins. Once a hunter has earned enough harvest, they too can start mentoring to help aid in the recruiment cause!
